MERRY CHR...oh, it's over already?? Ok. Anyone Else Chilly?

And just like that…it was gone.  Yep, the holiday season is over – I was gonna talk about what it was like, this past Wednesday, to stash all the decorations away for the year once again but…you can pretty much just read last month’s post backward for that rundown. Today, the only thing on my mind is how F*#KING COLD IT IS!!!!  My dog even promised to learn how to use the toilet and the treadmill as long as I don’t make him go outside to go to the bathroom and exercise (I don’t believe him though cuz he also promised to stop eating cat poop, a while back, and that sure hasn’t happened).  Earlier today I walked into the bank and the teller smiles and asks, “how bad is it outside?”…I said, “it’s really, really cold…like 4 degrees” and she says, “Wow, that’s bad…well, at least the sun is out”.  I couldn’t help but think what difference that makes…4 degrees is 4 degrees – I mean, if your being attacked by a lion, it really doesn’t matter if it’s under an overcast sky or a cloudless blue one…the “being attacked by a lion” part is really the critical issue at hand.  I dunno, maybe she meant that if the sun wasn’t out, it would be even colder – but, even so…to me, that’s like saying “at least the 500 lb. lion isn’t 550 lbs.”…ya know what I mean?  Or maybe the cold just turns me into a cranky wise-ass – hmmmmm…maybe.  Anyway, bundle-up everyone!!
